Individualize Your Racing Season

In many endurance sports, competition has become a year-round season. Runners can find a race within a short drive of home virtually all year long. For other sports, seasons are restricted, mostly due to the weather. But even in this case, the race season is often a long one, as sporting events have become big business. For a triathlete living in Minnesota, a race is just a plane ride away to, say, Florida. And still other situations exist; if you’re a pro, you may just pack up your gear and head south or north when the weather changes, and suddenly you’re in a different environment and often a new competitive season.
