Other Foot Remedies
In some situations, in addition to the four self-therapies above, certain traditional remedies may be helpful. The two most popular and long-standing home remedies are the use of cold and hot. In addition, rolling tight plantar muscles on a golf ball and strengthening specific muscles that are chronically weak can also be helpful. While these remedies can be very effective, they should not replace those described above, and are best performed in addition. The exception is in situations where rest is necessary or for acute problems where cold may be best.
