Although mistaking among and between is quite common, it is easy to understand and correct.

Between: Use this when only 2 things are involved.

Among: Use this when 3 or more things are involved.

“The man strolled among the cars in the lot.”

“Among the nations represented, Burma stands as an example of beauty.”
